We specialize in immersive murder mystery events in Shawnee, KS and the Kansas City metro. But this isn’t dinner theater — you are the cast. Each guest receives a character role before the event, complete with backstory, motives, and secrets to protect. On the night of the mystery, you’ll step into their shoes, interact with fellow suspects, and work together to solve the crime… unless you’re the one trying not to get caught.
Our games are written in-house, blending clever twists, laugh-out-loud moments, and plenty of intrigue. Whether you’re joining a public themed dinner, booking a private party, or planning a corporate team-building event, we create unforgettable nights where strangers become detectives, friends become suspects, and memories last long after the case is closed.

Yes dinner is included in the price of the ticket and includes Beef Brisket, Pulled pork, and Turkey with baked beans, Cole slaw, and Cheese Potatoes bake.
Absolutely not! Our events are designed for people of all experience levels. We will guide you through the process. Many guests find they naturally get into character as the evening progresses. The mystery is about solving clues and having fun, not delivering Oscar-worthy performances!
We accommodate all dietary restrictions and allergies with advance notice as best as we can. Simply let us know when booking, and our team will try to ensure you have delicious alternatives that fit your needs.
You're absolutely welcome to attend solo! Many of our guests come alone and have a fantastic time meeting new people and working together to solve the mystery. We'll make sure you're integrated into the group and have plenty of opportunities to participate. Some of our best detectives have been solo sleuths!
No. Your ticket does not include welcome alcohol. However a selection of beverages will be availabile through the restaurant.
We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially for weekend events and special occasions. Our mysteries have limited capacity to ensure an intimate experience, and popular dates fill up quickly. Holiday events, Valentine's Day, and Halloween mysteries may require booking even earlier. Don't wait until the last minute – the best mysteries book fast!
Themed attire is strongly encouraged but not required! Guests who dress up often have more fun and get more immersed in the experience. You're welcome to come in whatever makes you comfortable. We want you to enjoy yourself above all else. Casual is perfectly fine if you prefer not to costume up.
We offer full refunds for cancellations made 7+ days before the event through Eventbrite's cancellation system. Cancellations made 3-7 days before the event receive a partial refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of the event due to catering and venue commitments. However, we're happy to help you transfer your booking to a future date when possible.
Our standard events are designed for ages 18+ due to the mature themes typical of murder mysteries. However, we can offer special family-friendly events and can create private bookings suitable for younger participants. Contact us directly if you'd like to discuss options for teens or family groups.
Absolutely! We love hosting private mysteries for corporate events, birthday parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and special celebrations. Private events can be customized with special themes, personalized mysteries, and can accommodate 8-25 guests depending on the venue. Don't worry the mystery will be solved, however the real reward is in the experience: the investigation process, meeting new people, enjoying great food and drinks, and having a memorable evening. We give awards for various achievements beyond just solving the case, including best costume, best actor, and most accumulated wealth!
